Syntax: The Formation of a Whole Sentence
In order for a sentence to make sense, we cannot simply string a bunch of words together at random. Rather, we must consider the form of the word (is it a noun? an adjective?) and how the word is functioning in the sentence (is it demonstrating action? description? is it serving to introduce an idea?). Then we look at that word’s relationship to the other words in the sentence, form those connections, and finally put all the words in the right order.
